Cafe au Lait et Croissant

IMG_2004.JPG

IMG_2002.JPG I just finished a two hour leisurely morning having coffee and croissants at Cafe de Flore, a cafe in the St. Germain district of Paris. The croissants were delicious and the fig jam even better! This was complimented by freshly squeezed orange juice and hard boiled eggs. Very typical French… The cliches are true. I watched as the French sat about sipping their coffee and gazing out at the street. Cafe de Flore used to host famous intellectuals and thinkers post war. Ernest Hemingway was also known to frequent this cafe. Off to the open air market…
